Last month, when I wrote about my trip to South Africa, I asked if anyone could help identify my collection from the southernmost point of the Western Cape, South Africa. Dr. Nancy O'Connor, the former chair of UMass Dartmouth and a wonderful invertebrate biology professor, came to the rescue (much as she has done at other points in my life). Thanks, Dr. O'Connor! |

Great that Dr Nancy could help you! If you, or her, need more help to ID the species you should contact Whale Coast Conservation or the Agulhas Biodiversity Initiative. Hope you get to visit again soon!

Thanks for the advice! Dr. O'Connor was able to identify everything we brought. I would love to go to South Africa again--it was an amazing experience with amazing friends.
